Cars Actually Get Towed From Ivy

Biking through Ivy today, we noticed something very disturbing: They are towing cars from the place.  For those who don't know, the Ivy Gardens apartment complex in the past had not been very vigorous about ticketing and towing.  Well, April 1 marked a crack-down - check out some compelling photo journalism from approximately 11.30 AM this morning below the fold:

If your car got towed (we saw at least three get the axe), you check with Colliers towing:

God, I wish they would tow the cars parked at Jeffersonian. I'd love to see the look on the faces of a bunch of fucking douchebags when they find out their cars have been towed.

Anyone else not liking this below the fold crap?

Correct, this story is real, and this isn't the first time this year it's happened. That said, they always tow from the part of the lot that always has tons of extra empty spaces. Why? And agreed, really feel bad for Jeffersonian residents. Lazy law students are awful human beings.

just spoke with Jeffersonian management

they said they'd start towing on Monday.

This has happened a few times this semester, even with cars that had Ivy stickers for a different section of the parking lot. I've heard of a few Ivy residents who have been towed from an area other than their own. Ivy has given some feeble / unconvincing explanations for why they are cracking down. They must have a financial deal with the towing people.

I think towing companies usually work on commission. Ivy Management might not have anything to do with the crack down. The towing company might need the money and could be cracking down on the all the properties they're supposed to cover.

^ No they used to call you threatening to tow your car (never did anything last year). But apparently they are cracking down on it now. That sucks a lot.
